My Current Skincare Routine for Perimenopausal Skin | Affordable The INKEY List Products I Love

3 min read

Your skin can change dramatically during perimenopause.

Products that once worked perfectly can suddenly feel too drying, irritating or simply not effective anymore. Many women find that their skin becomes more sensitive, drier, less predictable and needs a little extra support.

As someone navigating perimenopause myself, I know how important it is to find skincare that helps my skin feel hydrated, balanced and healthy — without needing an unrealistic 10-step routine or spending a fortune.

In this post, I'm sharing my current skincare routine, including some of my favourite The INKEY List products that I've been reaching for recently.

I've also filmed a full video where I demonstrate these products and share my honest thoughts.

How Perimenopause Changed My Skin

One of the biggest lessons I've learned during perimenopause is that skincare isn't about chasing perfection.

It's about supporting your skin through change.

Hormonal fluctuations can affect many things, including:

  • skin hydration

  • sensitivity

  • texture

  • oil production

  • how quickly your skin recovers

  • how makeup sits on your skin

I personally look for products that help my skin feel:

✨ Comfortable✨ Hydrated✨ Nourished✨ Balanced✨ Healthy-looking

For me, a successful skincare routine is one that I actually enjoy using consistently.

Final Thoughts

Finding skincare that works during perimenopause can feel like a journey.

Our skin changes, and that's completely normal.

The products that work best for me now are those that focus on hydration, supporting my skin barrier and helping me feel confident in my own skin.

The INKEY List has become a brand I regularly reach for because it offers effective ingredients at accessible prices — and I love discovering products that genuinely fit into everyday life.

If you would like to see the full demonstration and my honest thoughts on each product, make sure you watch the video.
