Finding Calm in the Storm: IVF, Emotions, and a Little Extra Support

If you’re reading this, chances are you know just how much of an emotional rollercoaster IVF can be. The waiting, the appointments, the endless questions, the highs of hope and the lows of disappointment — it can feel like your heart and mind are constantly being pulled in different directions.
I know this first hand. My own journey to becoming a mum was not straightforward. I spent years navigating fertility struggles before welcoming my son into the world. Looking back, I often wish I’d had a tool like EFT Tapping at my side. At the time, I hadn’t yet trained and certified in this practice, and it wasn’t something I knew to reach for. It was only much later that I discovered just how powerful it can be in supporting both body and mind through difficult times.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), often called tapping, is a gentle yet effective way to calm the nervous system, ease anxiety, and release some of the stress that sits heavy during the IVF process. It won’t change the timeline or the outcome, but it can help you feel more grounded, more resilient, and a little less alone in the waiting.
